We are starting a new women's soccer program at The University of South Carolina-Union in Union, SC. We are a Junior College and will be playing in the NJCAA Region 10. As a JUCO, there are certain advantages that you should consider. First, you will be expected to contribute right away. There will be no waiting around. Often at four-year schools, a freshman will be overlooked. Here you will get valuable playing time. Second, you get your associate's degree in two years, then you have another life decision to make. Do you enter the work world, do you continue your schooling at a four-year school, do you continue playing at that four-year school? Since you've seen lots of playing time, you become more attractive to four-year school coaches. Next, we are less expensive. Even with soccer scholarships( we have them also), chances are we will cost less than a big four-year school or a private school. If your grades are good there is a chance it will cost next to nothing, it depends on the individual. let's talk and figure it out! Next, You will be expected to contribute right away. No waiting for playing time. You will get it from the beginning. Last, everything we do will be a first. the first win, the first goal, the first bus trip. It will be very exciting to be part of that! Please take a look at our school website to find out more about USC-Union. https://sc.edu/about/system_and_campuses/union/index.php USC Union - USC Union - University of South Carolina Start Here. Stay Here. Finish Here. We offer flexible degree programs including associates degrees, bachelor's degrees and online options to make that happen. Our dual enrollment programs give high school students the chance to start their college education while they're still in high school. sc.edu If I have piqued your interest, please contact me and we can talk more about playing at USC-Union. I can be reached at jam141@mailbox.sc.edu or you can text me at 803-238-5575. I hope that I hear from you soon.
