      We are pleased to invite your team to apply to the Steamers FC Spring Classic! Come join us for some great soccer! 

      We are committed to ensuring all teams are placed in groups that assure them the most enjoyable, competitive matches against teams they do not regularly play.

      Applications are available online so register today by clicking the "Apply" button above. Once you complete your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. When we reach our deadline for registrations, we will notify the accepted teams.

      Once teams have been accepted, application fees are non-refundable.

      Entry Fee 

      U8 - U10 (7 v 7) — $350
      U10 - U-12 (9 v 9) — $400
      U12 - U15 (11 v 11) — $450

      The Tournament Committee is planning schedules with a maximum number of eight teams at each competitive level in any age group. If any group has fewer applicants than that number, the number of participating teams in another group may be increased.

      Maximum numbers of players on a team’s official roster is 12 for U8-U10 . (Teams will play 7v7)

      Maximum numbers of players on a team’s official roster is 14 for U11-U12. (Teams will play 9v9)

      Maximum number of players on a team’s official roster is 22 for U13-U19.  (ONLY 18 Can Dress per Game)

      Players may participate on only one team in this tournament.

      Age groups will play based on 2018 (player passes are based on Fall 2018)

      Under  8:  Born   Jan 1,        2011 or later
      Under   9:  Born  Jan 1,        2010 or later
      Under 10:  Born  Jan.1,        2009 or later
      Under 11:  Born  Jan.1,        2008 or later

      Under 12:  Born  Jan.1,        2007 or later
      Under 13:  Born  Jan 1,        2006 or later 
      Under 14:  Born  Jan. 1,       2005 or later

      Under 15:  Born  Jan. 1,       2004 or later
       

      All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games. We will have separate level groupings if entries permit. The tournament committee reserves the option to combine groupings as necessary.

      The Steamers FC Spring Classic is an Unrestricted tournament.  All affiliations may apply.  

      Unrestricted tournament
      Roster Limits:  U8 - U10 (7v7) = 12 players max. — 3 Guest Players
      Roster Limits:  U10 - U12 (9v9) = 14 players max. — 3 Guest Players
      Roster Limits:  U12 - U15 (11v11) = 18 players max. — 3 Guest Players

      Documentation Required
      The following documentation will be required and registration will be online:

      Credentials
      At registration, teams must provide the required credentials.  All teams must present:

      • State Roster - Two (2) copies of your official roster
      • Guest Player Form - Two (2) copies 
      • Current State Association issued Player Passes with photo, signed, stamped, and laminated
      • Individual Medical Release Form
      • Permission or Notification of Travel - USYSA teams from outside Georgia must also provide this including a roster listing all players authorized to travel.
      • Game Rosters/Game Cards - 5 copies from your Soccer in College team page

      Format
      USYSA rules with three (3) games minimum.

      Match Duration:  7V7  = 2 x 30 minute halves

      Match Duration: 9v9   = 2 x 30 minute halves

      Match Duration:  11v11 = 2 x 35 minute halves

    • Latest News Steamers FC Spring CLassic 2019 CANCELLED

      Teams,

       

      Given the extensive rain in our area and more rain in the forecast ahead we have decided it is in the best interest to cancel the 2019 Steamers FC Spring Classic.  We attempted to get turf fields but the availability was not enough time of usage to get the tournament in and Rabbit Hill/Bethesda Park are both under severe water.  I spent 6 hours last night reworking the schedules to see how we could make it all work and even with shortening games to (2)20 minute halves the reality is the kids would be playing in mud/puddles and the overall experience would be poor.  We can control everyting other than Mother Nature and 8-9 days of straight rain has given us no solution other than to cancel the event.  We have below a grid of what you possibly have paid and what your refund amount will be with a CODE as well you can use for our August event in the Fall or our Spring event next February.  Again we apologize and hope all of you have a very successful Spring season.
