    • Mississippi Rush Spring Classic - 8U-12U 9v9 weekend

      IMPORTANT - March 17, 2020 - Managers and coaches have been notified by email that the 2020 MS Rush Spring Classic is CANCELED. See letter sent to managers and coaches click here. If you booked thru our hotel provider CSTT Sports, hotels have been canceled and there is nothing further parents need to do. 

      March 16 - Please be aware that we are aware some states are restricting travel. You may email us if you are effected, but we will be delayed in responding, but just know we are receiving emails. We will be in touch with everyone as we decide more about the tournament future for this season. Be safe.  

      COVID-19 Update: As of March 12, the tournament is on as scheduled. We will make a final decison on Monday March 30th by 5:00pm as to if the tournament will be able to proceed for the April 3-5 weekend . We are monitoring the situation, and will have the best interest of the players, parents, referees and volunteers at the heart of our decision. An email will go out to all teams registered for this weekend on Monday, March 30th by 5:00pm as we see what the next few weeks holds.

      Futhermore, we are sanctioned by US Club Soccer, so even with MSA's difficult decision to suspend tournaments until April 1, we still have sanctioning with US Club Soccer who has left the decison up to individual clubs. MSA registered teams are covered by our tournament insurance thru US Club Soccer.  Therefore, we would like to see what the next few days or week holds before we make a decision to cancel.  We will stay in touch with coaches and managers as decisions are made. Rest assured any out of town teams that utilized our stay to play policy and our housing company, CSTT Sports are protected under hotel cancellation deadlines and will not be charged any penalties in conjunction with cancellations since CSTT will handle all cancellations. There is nothing parents need to do. If your team booked outside the stay to play, please consult your individual hotel.


      We are pleased to invite YOUR team to apply to the 2020 MS Rush Spring Classic Academy weekend. Play for 10U-12U teams who wish to play 9v9 AND play for 8U-10U 7v7 teams will be held at the Jackson Futbol Club complex on April 3-5,2020. Only local teams may be scheduled to play Friday night. 

      Mississippi Rec-Plus teams are welcome and encouraged to apply!

      12U teams who wish to play 11v11 should apply for the older weekend on March 27-29,2020 That registration can be found at
      This tournament is sanctioned by USYS and US Club Soccer. Come join us for a fun filled weekend with some great competition!
      Preliminary Schedules for the weekend will be posted by Tuesday, March 31 at 12:00pm.  An email will go out to all coaches and managers at that time with further instructions.

      • From our Trainers

        Trainers from MS Sports Medicine will be onsite at the JFC Complex only. Please remember that the primary job of our trainers at the tournament is to treat "In Game" injuries, and they have to be available and on call to do that. Ankle pre-wraps etc. are on a best efforts basis only. The trainer will do prewraps if he/she has time and are not dealing with an injury. In order to get prewrapped, players need to bring their own tape and wrap materials.
      • Schedule Timeline

        Registration will close on March 25. After that point, you may apply for the waitlist but there is no guaranteed acceptance. Preliminary schedules will be posted by the night of Tuesday, March 31 at 12:00pm. An email will go out to team contacts at that time with further instructions. 
      • Online Checkin

        Online checkin has begun. In order to participate it must be started by Thursday, April 4 at 5:00pm EST and completed by Friday, April 5 at 4:00pm EST. 
      • Parking Charge

        There is a $5 parking charge at the JFC complex for the weekend for cars and $25 for RVs. Please notify your parents. The pass is good for all weekend at all complexes.

      The online application system will open on December 1, 2019. Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2019  until March 25, 2020. After March 25 teams will be wait-listed and accepted on an as needed basis. Every effort will be made to accommodate coaching conflicts as long as it is noted on your application or communicated to the tournament director at by March 25, 2019.
