• Mississippi Rush Spring Classic - 8U-12U 7v7 and 9v9 weekend

      Tuesday, April 13 - 2:00pm - Schedules are now final for the weekend. Coaches and managers have received a final email. Safe travels to everyone and best of luck to all teams. 

      Fellowship of Christian Athletes:

      Mississippi Rush and Jackson Futbol Club are proud to announce a partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) beginning spring 2021.
       
      FCA will be onsite at the JFC complex on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each of our tournaments. Rolling Beans Coffee Shop will also be onsite with FCA. Please stop by and visit with them. They will offer two devotional services on Sunday morning led by a student leader in their ministry, so it will be perfect for these young players. These devotions will be approximately 20 minutes long and open to all coaches, parents, and players. They will have services at 9:45 and 11:15 at the FCA tent located by the JFC pavilion. By offering 2 times, we hope that everyone will have the opportunity to attend one if they so desire. We hope you and your teams will take advantage of this special opportunity we are offering.
       
       

      SAVE THE DATE - 2021 MS Rush Spring Classic Academy weekend for U8-U12 (7v7 and 9v9) teams will be April 16-18, 2021. We hope you will join us! Registration will open December 1, 2020

      We are pleased to invite YOUR team to apply to the 2021 MS Rush Spring Classic Academy weekend. Play for 10U-12U teams who wish to play 9v9 AND play for 8U-10U 7v7 teams will be held at the Jackson Futbol Club complex on April 16-18, 2021. Only local teams may be scheduled to play Friday night. 

      Mississippi Rec-Plus teams are welcome and encouraged to apply!

      **If tournament cannot be played due to Covid-19 restrictions,entry fees will be refunded. **

      12U teams who wish to play 11v11 should apply for the older weekend on March 26-28, 2021 That registration can be found at www.msrushspringclassicolder.com.
       
      This tournament is sanctioned by USYS and US Club Soccer. Come join us for a fun filled weekend with some great competition!

      If you haven't done so already, please either go to the credit card page to pay by CC or mail a check to be received by March 20, 2021 for older weekend and April 5, 2021 for younger weekend

      • From our Trainers

        Trainers from MS Sports Medicine will be onsite at the JFC Complex only. Please remember that the primary job of our trainers at the tournament is to treat "In Game" injuries, and they have to be available and on call to do that. Ankle pre-wraps etc. are on a best efforts basis only. The trainer will do prewraps if he/she has time and are not dealing with an injury. In order to get prewrapped, players need to bring their own tape and wrap materials.
      • Schedule Timeline

        Registration will close on April 5. After that point, you may apply for the waitlist but there is no guaranteed acceptance. Preliminary schedules will be posted by the night of Monday, April 12 at 9:00pm. An email will go out to team contacts at that time with further instructions. 
      • Online Checkin

        In order to participate in online checkin it must be started by Friday, April 23 at 9:00am EST and completed by Friday, April 23 at 5:00pm EST. 
      • Parking Charge

        There is a $5 parking charge at the JFC complex for the weekend for cars and $25 for RVs. Please notify your parents. The pass is good for all weekend at all complexes.

      The online application system will open on December 1, 2020. Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2020  until April 5, 2021. After April 5 teams will be wait-listed and accepted on an as needed basis. Every effort will be made to accommodate coaching conflicts as long as it is noted on your application or communicated to the tournament director at msrushspringclassic@aol.com by April 5, 2021.
