• MS Rush Spring Classic 12U-19U (11v11)

      IMPORTANT - March 17, 2020 - Managers and coaches have been notified by email that the 2020 MS Rush Spring Classic is CANCELED. See letter sent to managers and coaches click here. If you booked thru our hotel provider CSTT Sports, hotels have been canceled and there is nothing further parents need to do. 

      March 16 - Please be aware that we are aware some states are restricting travel. You may email us if you are effected, but we will be delayed in responding, but just know we are receiving emails. We will be in touch with everyone as we decide more about the tournament future for this season. Be safe.  

       

      COVID-19 Update: As of March 12, the tournament is on as scheduled. We will make a final decison on Monday March 23 by 5:00pm as to if the tournament will be able to proceed. We are monitoring the situation, and will have the best interest of the players, parents, referees and volunteers at the heart of our decision. An email will go out to all teams registered for this weekend on Monday, March 23rd by 5:00pm as we see what the next week holds.

      Futhermore, we are sanctioned by US Club Soccer, so even with MSA's difficult decision to suspend tournaments until April 1, we still have sanctioning with US Club Soccer who has left the decison up to individual clubs. MSA registered teams are covered by our tournament insurance thru US Club Soccer.  

      Therefore, we would like to see what the next few days or week holds before we make a decision to cancel.  We will stay in touch with coaches and managers as decisions are made. Rest assured any out of town teams that utilized our stay to play policy and our housing company, CSTT Sports are protected under hotel cancellation deadlines and will not be charged any penalties in conjunction with cancellations since CSTT will handle all cancellations. There is nothing parents need to do. If your team booked outside the stay to play, please consult your individual hotel. 

      SAVE THE DATE - The 2020 MS Rush Spring Classic 11v11 weekend for U12-U19 teams will be held March 27-29, 2020. Applications will be accepted beginning December 1, 2019.

      We are pleased to invite YOUR team to apply to the 2020 MS Rush Spring Classic Older weekend. Play for 12U-19U teams who wish to play 11v11 will be held in the Jackson Metro Area, March 27-29,2020. Only local teams may be scheduled to play Friday night.

      **Please note this tournament is held over two weekends. Older teams 12U-19U will play March 27-29 for 11v11 play.  8U-12U 9v9 teams AND 7v7 teams will play April 3-5. 12U teams wishing to play 11v11, should apply for the older weekend.       • Schedule timeline

        Preliminary schedules for the weekend will be posted by Monday, March 23 at 6:00pm. An email will go out to all coaches and managers at that time. No special schedule requests will be accepted after March 15 which is close of registration. Should you wish to include something not listed on your original application, please email msrushspringclassic@aol.com by March 15. 
      • Online checkin

        Online checkin is optional and must be started by Friday, March 27 at 9:00am EST and completed by Friday, March 27 at 5:00pm EST. Once you pay the $20 fee associated with online checkin, it cannot be refunded. 
      • From our Trainers

        Trainers from MS Sports Medicine will be onsite at the JFC Complex and Freedom Ridge Park only. Please remember that the primary job of our trainers at the tournament is to treat "In Game" injuries, and they have to be available and on call to do that. Ankle pre-wraps etc. are on a best efforts basis only. The trainer will do prewraps if he/she has time and are not dealing with an injury. In order to get prewrapped, players need to bring their own tape and wrap materials.
      • Parking Charge

        There is a $5 parking charge at the JFC complex for the weekend for cars and $25 for RVs. Please notify your parents. The pass is good for all weekend at all complexes. 
    • Application Info for Older Weekend
      The online application system will open on December 1, 2019.  Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2019 until March 15, 2020. After March 15 teams will be wait-listed and accepted on an as needed basis.  Every effort will be made to accommodate coaching conflicts as long as it is noted on your application or communicated to the tournament director at msrushspringclassic@aol.com by March 15, 2020.
