      AFC Huntsville and United Soccer Club are excited to honor our Technical Director and Madison County Hall of Fame soccer icon, Coach Mike Latty with our first annual Rocket City Invitational! 

      Plan to join us in Huntsville, AL August 22-24, 2025 to experience a first class tournament with a level of competition for all teams.

      *Acceptance to the Birmingham Bash is contingent upon making your lodging accommodations through our Official Travel Partner, Anthony Travel.
    • ONLINE CHECK IN MUST BE STARTED BY MONDAY 8/18 AT 5PM AND COMPLETED BY WEDNESDAY 8/20 AT 5PM

      Schedules will be made final through a notification via email.  Please review your schedules often.  Note: only coaching conflicts entered into the system before the previously posted deadline will be considered. Time constraints are not considered for this event. Local games only will be played Friday night. 
       
      Begin Online Check In - There is NO in person check in for the tournament.  Online check in must be completed by 5:00pm CST, Wednesday, August 20 . Do not wait till the last minute to begin and complete this process!
       
      Lodging - It is recommended that all teams who need accommodations book hotel reservations through Event Connect to ensure their place in the 2025 tournament.  Link coming soon with discounted rates.  In the meantime, please see our list of recommended hotels and feel free to book directly. 
       
      Tournament Shirts - We are working with a local business for shirts and sweathshirts on site for purchase!  More details coming soon. 
       
      Tournament Documents:  Managers/Coaches will need to bring to each match:
      1. Official team roster with the SINC approved logo
      2. Laminated player cards in alphabetical order

      *NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED BY THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE IF CANCELED FOR WEATHER**
      WEATHER CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE FROM A THIRD-PARTY ON A PER-TEAM BASIS AT CHECKOUT.  THE COST IS 10% OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE. IF THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER, THE TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SEEKING A REIMBURSEMENT FROM INSURANCE.
      TO BE CLEAR, REFUNDS THROUGH THE INSURANCE PROVIDER ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR TEAMS THAT PURCHASE CANCELLATION INSURANCE AT LEAST 14 DAYS BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.
