• AFU Hudgens Rec Cup
      Atlanta Fire United invites you to participate in the 2023 Atlanta Fire United Hudgens Rec Cup Soccer Tournament for recreational teams.  The tournament is sanctioned by US Youth Soccer and will be played on May 20 and May 21, 2023, in the Metro Atlanta area (primary locations are Duluth, and Suwanee, GA).  Competition is open to both Boys and Girls Recreational teams in the Under 08 through Under 19 age groups.

      November 10, 2022 - Application available on-line
      May 8, 2023- Application deadline 
      May 11, 2023 - Acceptance notifications emailed
      May 10, 2023 -  Final payment due
      May 13, 2023 - Schedules posted
      May 17, 2023 - Online check-in must be completed
      May 20 & 21, 2023 - Tournament games 
              
       
      ***IMPORTANT - Atlanta Fire United Rec Hudgens Cup will utilize Online Check-In only. Online Check-In must be completed by Tuesday, May 17 2023.***
         
      TEAMS
       
      Up to four guest players are allowed.  Teams will compete in single age groups with a maximum of eight teams per division.

      Divisions may be further subdivided should the number of entries warrant.

      AGE DIVISIONS

      A limited number of teams will be accepted into the following age groups.

      Under 08 - 2015 & 2016

      Under 10 - 2013 & 2014

      Under 12 - 2011 & 2012

      Under 14 - 2009 & 2010

      Under 16 - 2007 & 2008

      Under 19 - 2004, 2005 & 2006                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
      The tournament committee reserves the right to combine age group divisions if a smaller number of applicants is received for a particular age group.
       
      PLAYING FORMAT
       

      Under 08   5 v 5   20 minute halves   12 player maximum roster size

      Under 10   7 v 7   25 minute halves   14 player maximum roster size

      Under 12   9 v 9   25-30 minute halves   18 player maximum roster size

      Under 14   11 v 11    30-35 minute halves   18 player maximum roster size

      Under 16   11 v 11    35-40 minute halves   18 player maximum roster size

      Under 19   11 v 11      35-40 minute halves   18 player maximum roster size

      Each division's champion and runner-up will receive awards.

      U08    $270.00  

      U10    $285.00   

      U12    $315.00

      U14    $370.00

      U16 and U19  $425.00

      Pay by check (E-Check Now Available), Visa, or Mastercard. 
      Any payments by check must be received within one week of submitting the application.  Once your team is accepted, the entry fee is non-refundable.  If your team is not accepted, the entry fee will be refunded in full.
       
      CHECK-IN

       

      Atlanta Fire United Rec Hudgens Cup will utilize Online Check-In only. Online Check-In must be completed by Wednesday, May 17, 2022.

       

       
      REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

      Teams will need to have the following documents available at check-in.

      • One copy of the official state association roster
      • Print out of game scorecards with your tournament roster entered for each scheduled match and possible semi-final and final matches (You must do this by logging in on this tournament website).
      • Current validated player pass for each player
      • Liability Release form (you MUST get this form from our tournament website under the important documents tab)
      • Guest Player Form (you MUST get this form from our tournament website under the important documents tab)
      • A Permission to Travel form for out-of-state teams
