1 Enter Profile

Enter your critical profile information for College coaches.

This includes your contact information: address, phone, and email.

You should also enter your birthday, graduation year, GPA and test scores if you have taken them. College Search Pool

College coaches are able to search the athletes in our database using factors that are most relevant for their program.

You must enter these parameters so that your profile will appear in the searches for the appropriate schools.

These factors include graduation year, GPA, test scores, zip code, field position, etc. Select Top Colleges

You should identify your top three College programs. You will appear on that College's page as in interested athlete.

You will also appear in the custom College guidebook for that coach for any tournaments you are attending.

The colleges you identify may be updated at any time as your circumstances or interests change. Upload Photo

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Of course, you are not registering for a beauty contest or a GQ cover.

However, you picture show a bit of your personality and helps the coaches get a glimpse of who you are.

Our control will even format it for you, but be sure to use one that fits your profile and remove all of the white space or we won't upload it. (No cartoons, groups, etc.) Identify Club Coach

Usually your club coach is one of the most important resources in your College search. They can enter an evaluation for review by college coaches.

College coaches can contact your club coach to discuss your abilities and desire even when they can't contact you.

Make sure your club coach's name and email address are attached to your team.

Club Coach Evaluation

Now that your club coach is in the database, you can send a note to them through the site requesting they provide you with an evaluation which will be available to College coaches.

Your coach will receive an email with a link that will take them directly to yoru evaluation page.

You have lots of people that know you. Not just trainers and coaches that know your level of play, but also teachers, counselors and other professionals

Those that don't know your sports abilities can speak to your character, commitment and leadership qualities.

You can send them a reference request through the site that will allow them to one-click to a screen to enter a reference.

Identify upcoming tournaments

You can include tournaments on your printable profile. Both past tournaments, that show where you have been, and future tournaments to let College coaches know where you will be.

Of course, you can go back in and update the list at any time.

Complete Profile

Of all of the items in your portfolio, your complete printable profile is the first a College coach looks at and you need it to grab their interest and make tham want to move forward.

By filling in a few forms on your site, we will crate a professional profile for you which you can print or attach to emails to College coaches.

Add reference

Start with your parents. Your coach, your favorite teacher and perhaps your boss. These references will appear on your profile and give College coaches people that they can caontact.

Update Criteria

Naturally, we will help you find the right college.

You will enter the criteria you are looking for: location, size, level of play, cost, scholarshi, etc. and we'll show you all of the programs that match your criteria.

Select Additional Colleges

Now that you are a "College Bound Athlete" you can identify up to nine Colleges you are most interested in.

That will help you increase your exposure.

Contact Colleges

Now it's time to shift into high gear. No matter what you are told NOTHING replaces the impact of a personal contact with College coaches. Even if you are early in the cycle and coaches can't write you back, you've got to let them know you are interested, who you are, and what you are up to!

We make it very easy and remind when it's time to contact them again.

Update Journal

You can create journal entries for whatever purpose you wish. Document your successes, or simply your entire journey.

Document your sports career or your recruiting journey. In fact, you can set each journal entry to private, public or filter the access

Write in other journal

How about a little fun or friendship? You can write a note in other player's journals congratulating them on a job well done or jsut showing your support.

Naturally, thoise joural entries remain private unless they decide to share them with others.

College Profile Book

Sports In College prepares a profile book for College coaches for events they register for. This is one of the KEY tools used by College coaches. Participating athletes appear in the books that are available to College coaches either online, in hardcopy or both.

Upload Videos

One thing is universal among College Coaches. They want to see you move! Ideally, they want to be at one of your games, but even when they will be at a tournament you are particpating in there may be a problem.

Many showcases will have upwards of 1,500 athletes participating and College coaches can't watch a game for every one of their ptoential recruits.

The video helps them focus on players whose style, size and speed matches their needs.
