A one-day, development-first event for U9–U12 (7v7/9v9) with a competitive edge. Modeled after academy matchdays in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and England, the Showcase runs as a single round-robin so every team plays purposeful, evenly matched games and competes for the day’s top spot.
What to expect
• Date/Place: Apr 25, 2026 · Trione (Daphne)
• Format: One-day round-robin; 2 or 3 high-quality fixtures (age-appropriate)
• Standards: Quality environment and positive sidelines with certified referees
• Awards: Player Development Series medals to the day’s winner(s) based on performance and results
How the Series levels up the competition? The Showcase Series uses results, observations, and registrations from earlier Player Development dates to seed matchups. That means:
• Opponents are paired by previous performance, level of play, and team intent
• Games are calibrated to be appropriately competitive, pushing players without mismatches
• Directors and coaches get clearer insights to guide development
Who it’s for?: ECNL-RL caliber clubs, Clubs aspiring for high-level competition, and like-minded programs that value both growth and meaningful competition.
Why it’s different: No brackets or finals, just efficient windows (AM/Mid/PM), appropriate fixtures, and a positive atmosphere that rewards development and performance.
