2017 Cincinnati Memorial Day Showcase Goalkeeper Combine
The Cincinnati Memorial Day Showcase is proud to announce the 2017 Goalkeeper Combine. This combine was created so that every goalkeeper registered gets the opportunity to show what they’ve got in front of all the college coaches at our showcase, even if their teams don’t give up many opportunities in the actual games themselves. Lunch will be provided to the college coaches in attendance during this combine’s time to ensure their attendance. The combine’s time is to be announced at the same time as the tournament schedule to make it so that we put it at a time in which no 15U-19U team plays to ensure college coaches only have one thing to interest them during this time; this combine. Combine information is as follows:
When: Saturday, May 27th at Time TBD based on schedule. One hour session
Where: Voice of America Park, West Chester, OH. Field TBD based on schedule; we will ensure we’re on the most visible field for college coaches possible.
Who: Coach Bobby Holden and Coach Dan Spiceland of Anderson University. Coach Holden will work with the keepers while Coach Spiceland will work with the strikers; Together they bring greater than 20 years of college coaching and playing experience with them to help run this combine.
Who’s invited: We will be accepting no more than 20 Goalkeepers and no more than 40 Strikers to ensure your player gets the individual attention he or she needs to show the college coaches their best attributes. All players must be 15U-19U to be accepted, either gender.
Cost: Goalkeeper spots cost $75.00 for the hour session while Strikers cost $50.00 for the same hour session.
Special Promotion: The first 20 players registered, strikers or keepers, will receive a complimentary North American College Showcase string pack.
