| NCYSA Referee FeesCurrent REFEREE FEE List
PAYMENT OF REFEREE FEES:
Per the recently passed motion (5/4/22 Classic Council Mtg), THE HOME TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE ENTIRETY OF REFEREE FEES FOR A MATCH.
- The method of payment is to be determined by the home club as has been done in the past. Examples of acceptable methods include but are not limited to: in envelopes via cash or check at the field (although, of these methods, cash is preferred) or via an electronic method through the club (ex. Ref Pay).
- If two teams book a neutral site, the referee fee would be split as usual and the method of payment as referenced above would need to be determined and coordinated between the two teams IN ADVANCE to insure proper payment of the officials.
- If both teams determine that a neutral site location would be preferred for their match, please note that NCYSA only covers the cost of this neutral field if it meets the requirements found within our Classic Handbook. Please review those guidelines before committing to a neutral site field and understand that if your teams are inside the required distance range, the cost of the field should be split between the two teams booking the field. If your teams agree to play a neutral site match and need assistance locating available options, please email Colby at classic@ncsoccer.org.
- Review your club and your opponent’s club policy pertaining to reschedules and the timeline for which they can be completed before the season begins. Each club may set up their own timeline for submission of reschedules so it is important to know each association you will be playing and their timelines/policies early on.
