Classification and Purpose:
Baton Rouge Soccer Club also known as; Baton Rouge Soccer Association (BRSA) conducts the Team Automotive Red Stick tournament for teams registered with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), US-Club Soccer and the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). The OLOL United Cup is sanctioned through the Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA) and open to boys and girls teams from 9U through 19U. The United Cup’s purpose continues to be to foster and advance the highest level of competitive soccer while promoting the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and courage.
Entry Requirements:
Teams wishing to enter the Team Automotive Red Stick Tournament must submit an online application, which is now open and ending on Monday, February 21st, 2022. After Monday, February 21st, 2022 teams may be entered based on availability in certain age groups and or divisions. Teams will be accepted to participate based on their competitive record in order to guarantee quality matches for all teams. Registration Notice:
The Tournament Committee seeds each team based on gender, playing level, age group, and tournament experience. To assist with proper seeding and to expedite your application, please complete all of the information requested. Your application cannot be considered without providing this information. Teams are registered on a first-come, first-served basis based on current playing level. If we are unable to assemble a competitive four-team bracket in your division, you will be contacted to discuss your options. Full refunds will be given to teams withdrawing before the Application Deadline Date listed above. No refunds will be given after that date unless your Division does not materialize. If your team is not accepted, your entry fee will be promptly refunded in full. Once your team is accepted in the tournament, your entry fee will be forfeited if you withdraw after the deadline date. No refunds, partial or in full, will be paid because of matches canceled or shortened due to inclement weather.
COVID-19 REFUND POLICY:
The safety of all families and players joining us for the 2022 BRSC Team Automotive Red Stick Tournament is important to BRSC. To help ease your concerns when registering for our tournament, we are offering a full refund of paid registration fees (less any credit card processing fees) if the tournament is canceled or your team can no longer participate due to infections or contact before the start of the event due to COVID-19 federal, state, or local guidelines.
If the BRSC Team Automotive Tournament is canceled due to COVID-19 or your team can no longer participate due to infections or contact, all participating teams will have the choice of the following:
- Transfer of 100% of the paid registration fees to the 2022 OLOL United Cup, or
- Refund of all paid registration fees (minus any credit card processing fees) via the method of original payment.
The regular refund policy for the 2022 BRSC Team Automotive Red Stick Tournament will apply in all other situations not related to COVID-19.

Tournament Location:
The Team Automotive Red Stick Tournament has been happy to host teams from the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Flordia at the beautiful OLOL Burbank Soccer Complex. The address is: 12400 Burbank Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, 70810.
The OLOL Burbank Soccer complex is a 24 field soccer complex that has been the home of the 2010, 2014 & 2019 USYSA Southern Regional Championship Tournament.
Please Note: Acoholic beverages are not allowed at the park.
Please Note: Dogs are welcome at our complex but must remain on a leash unless otherwise located in the dog park.
Game Information:
All teams will be scheduled to play at least three games (excluding 7v7 Jamboree). Depending on the number of teams in an age group, bracket play followed by playoff(s) or a round-robin format may be scheduled. Every effort will be made to form USYSA single age divisions; however the Tournament Director reserves the right to combine age groups if needed.
All players participating must be registered to the team on which they are playing, and a player may only participate with one team in the tournament. Guest/Club pass players are allowed: a maximum of three guest/club players, per team.
FIFA Laws of the Game will apply except as amended in the Tournament Rules.
