Adam Sprague

Adam Sprague was named the Associate Head Soccer Coach at Mount Aloysius in July 2019. He was elevated to Co-Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach, following the 2019 season.

In 2019, after being tabbed the interim Head Coach of both programs, Sprague led each of the teams to AMCC semi-final appearances. The men's program finished with a 15-6 overall record, good enough for a third-place finish. Highlights of the year included six shutouts and senior, Joshua Devlin, being named Academic All-America. 2019 for the women's program was very similar, ending with an overall record of 12-4-4. They also finished third, in the AMCC. The women played two of the most exciting games of the season, both at Penn State Behrend, with the first ending in a 0-0 draw, and the second being tightly contested before the Mounties fell, 3-2, in overtime. Sprague mentored 10 All-AMCC selections in his first year at the helm, with five athletes on both teams.

Sprague arrived in Cresson after a one year stint as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Pine Manor College, an independent Division III Institution, located in Chestnut Hill, MA.

Prior to Pine Manor, Sprague was a graduate assistant coach at New England College with the women's program. During his time at NEC, he helped lead the Pilgrims to two conference tournament trips, which included an appearance in the North Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship Game, in the fall of 2016. Following his time as a graduate assistant, he was named the Athletic Business Operations Coordinator in May 2018.

Sprague began his coaching career in the high school ranks, where he was also a high school math teacher. He also spent time working with numerous club teams across New York and New Hampshire.

Sprague earned a B.S. in Mathematics-Adolescent Education from SUNY Fredonia in 2012. In the spring of 2018, he completed his degree at NEC with an MBA in Sports and Recreation Management.
