Emma Woodley

Coach Emma (Lundeen) Woodley enters her third season as head coach of the North Park University women's soccer team in 2022, marking her sixth year as a coach with the program.

Woodley is certainly no stranger to NPU women's soccer. A four-year letter winner and 2015 NPU Female Athlete of the Year, Woodley earned First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) recognition; the first time a Viking was named to the First Team in over 15 years. Woodley broke the single-season record for goals scored during her illustrious senior campaign, marking a league-leading 17. In that 2014 season, Woodley led the league in points (37), points per game (2.06), and goals per game (0.94). Woodley finalized her decorated career with a program second-best 29 goals while breaking the single-season mark for points in a year (37).

Upon graduating from North Park in 2015, Woodley joined the Viking coaching staff as a graduate assistant. She rejoined the women's soccer program, while continuing to serve as an admissions counselor, for the 2019 season.

Ashley Meyer

Ashley Meyer joined the North Park University women’s soccer program as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2020.

Prior to North Park, Meyer played two seasons at NCAA Division III Dominican University (2010-2011) before transferring to UW-Parkside (2012, 2014), where she completed her collegiate career.

In her sophomore season at Dominican, Meyer led the Stars with 15 goals and 35 points in her 18 matches played. In the following season, now at UW-Parkside, Meyer started in all 20 matches for the Rangers. She finished second on the team with six assists and 14 points while scoring four total goals. In her Ranger debut, she assisted on all three goals against Norwood (August 30) in a 3-2 win.

After sitting out the 2013 season due to injury, Meyer played in all 22 matches during her 2014 senior campaign. She scored a pair of goals while finishing the season with a team second-best five assists. Meyer capped her collegiate career with some notable moments, assisting on a pair of goals against Lewis University in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Quarterfinals while also scoring a goal of her own against Saginaw Valley State University in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Following her playing career, Meyer assisted the women’s soccer program at Evanston Township High School and also served as a substitute teacher. Additionally, she worked as a personal trainer at XSport Fitness, Evanston Athletic Club, and F45 Training Glenview.

I have used the Soccer in College site for 8 years, and it has helped me keep my personal and soccer information up to date, and has helped be track college contacts and interest. I think the site helped me prepare for college offers, and helped me determine that I wanted to play for UNC.
