Coach Clewis enters his third year at the helm of the Women's Soccer program.

In his second year with the Pacers, Clewis coached the team to a 7-11 overall record and 3-5 conference record. The 7-11 record set a program record for most wins in a single season and secured the program's first USA South Conference Tournament appearance. The team was also recognized with their first individual USA South Women's Soccer honor with a Rookie of the Year accolade, in addition to a First Team East Division selection.

Clewis began his coaching career, while still an undergraduate at Mt. Olive University, at Spring Creek High School as the Head Women's Varsity Soccer Coach in 2006. In March of 2007, Clewis became the Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach at Mt. Olive. From the fall of 2008 to 2010 Clewis worked as the Fayetteville Soccer Club Technical Director of Camps and Clinics, and also served as the Head Coach for the Girls U11-U18 teams. During this time period, Clewis also served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Mt. Olive from 2006-2010.

Clewis progressed to Wilmington, NC to work as the Assistant Director of Player Development, Camp Director, Adult Representative, Head Coach for the Boys U-12 to U-17 teams, and Head Coach for the Girls U-17 team at the Cape Fear Soccer Club from 2011-2012. From May of 2012 to 2014, Clewis took his coaching to Goldsboro, NC as the Director of Coaching and the Head Coach of the 2000 Boys Orange Team at the Wayne County United Soccer Club.

Clewis would return to the Trojan sidelines in 2012 as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach until being named the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Mt. Olive in 2015.

Clewis has been a Head Coach with the North Carolina Olympic Development Program since 2012, as well as a Head Coach for the 00 Boys Premier team with the Fayetteville Soccer Club until 2018. Clewis now coaches both on the girls and boys side at Neuse River Futbol Association.
