• Blue Angel Classic

      The Gulf Coast Texans are pleased to announce plans to host the 2018 Blue Angel Classic Soccer Tournament. The primary site will once again be the Ashton Brosnaham Sportsplex in Pensacola, FL.  We will use other area fields as necessary.

      After nearly two decades, the Blue Angel Classic has become a Columbus Day tradition.  With average highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s, teams can take advantage of great beach weather after a competitive day of soccer.

      Guaranteed 3 games

      • Match Lengths (all games)
        • U9-U10 - 25 minute halves       Application Fee:  $375
        • U11-U12 - 30 minute halves     Application Fee:  $475
        • U13-U14 - 35 minute halves     Application Fee:  $525
        • U15-U19 - 35 minute halves     Application Fee:  $575
      • Ealry registration $50 discount for teams registered and PAID by 8/31
      • Awards for Champions and Finalists in each Age Group/Division
      • Multiple flights/age group based on competitive level (if sufficient teams in age group)

      There are a few important items that we want to make sure you are aware of before applying:

      • The Blue Angel Classic, sanctioned by the Florida Youth Soccer Association, is an unrestricted tournament. Teams affiliated with any USSF member may apply to participate in the event. Approved Hosting agreement will be posted when received.  Approval Pending.
      • There will also be an parking fee of $5/vehicle/weekend.

    • Team Check-In

      We encourage you to check-in online.  However, check-in will be available Saturday morning at Ashton Brosnaham. You will need to arrive at least 1 hour before your first game or 11:00AM on Saturday, whichever is EARLIER. Check-in will be clearly marked upon arrival.

      Bring the following required items to check-in:

      1. Three (3) computer generated rosters with uniform numbers written in (USYSA or US Club) (2 copies for club to keep).

      2. Laminated players passes

      3. Medical Release forms

      4. Guest player forms (completed) (club to keep for records)

      5. "Permission to Travel" from state association if traveling from outside of Florida (USYSA only)
