The Georgia Youth Soccer Association is pleased to invite your team to apply to the Atlanta Cup - Labor Day weekend, September 1-3, 2007. Now in its 29th year, the tournament has become one of the premier tournaments in the country offering competitive soccer for both boys and girls teams ages u10 through u19. You may register and submit your application on-line and pay by on-line Check, Visa or MasterCard. Once submitted you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. This confirmation does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament. You will be notified of acceptance by July 31, 2007. Registrations are accepted on-line only.

Just the facts

Tournament Eligibility
The Atlanta Cup is open to select teams, premier, classic, athena and academy registered and in good standing with their US Youth Soccer affiliated association. Age groups for this years’ tournament are u10, u11, u12, u13, u14, u15, u16, u17, u19 for boys and girls.

Teams will be grouped according to past playing record to make the most competitive divisions possible. The Atlanta Cup Committee alone determines final placement. The Committee uses many factors when ranking teams including league playing division and record, State Cup and tournament results, USA Rank ranking service, etc.


Teams that require lodging are required to stay in Atlanta Cup approved hotels. Reservations will be handled by Connections, our tournament housing company. Hotels, descriptions, and rates will be posted on the tournament website. Teams may book rooms after divisions are announced.

If there is a hotel where your team would like to stay –  and you do not see the hotel on our approved list -  just drop Connections a note and they will be happy to work with you....


Online Check-In

Online Check In is now available for this event.

What is Online Check-in?

Online Check-in eliminates the need for your team to show up in person before your first game by allowing you to complete the check-in process online. You will be required to upload .pdf files or images to the secure sincSports cloud. The event will determine which documents are required.

There is a $20 non-refundable fee.

August 13 - Schedules will be posted the week of August 20. T-shirt pre-orders are closed. T-shirts will be available at all venues - remember to purchase early as sizes will be limited. Please remember that your Official Roster and Game Cards will be available for printing after the schedules are released. We look forward to seeing you at the Atlanta Cup.


August 7 - All Divisions are set. We are looking forward to competitive games in all divisions. T-shirt pre-orders are due this Friday, August 10. Pre-order on-line to get the discounted price and guaranteed size.


July 20 - Accepted teams and Divisions are posted. Please go to the DOCUMENTS tab and print out the Coach/Manager letter for all tournament details. Remember that your acceptance is a commitment to both the tournament and other teams in your group. We expect that your team will be available for all games as scheduled. The Atlanta Cup Committee looks forward to seeing you on Labor Day weekend.

July - Applications are closed. We are accepting teams on our Wait List. If you would like to be Wait Listed, please go the Application page and complete the information. If an opening becomes available, we will contact you immediately.

At this time teams are being placed into Divisions. We will post Divisions and Venues by July 21. All forms and information will be available on the website the following week.

June 29 - Applications will be accepted through the weekend. Please make sure your application is completed by Sunday, July 1.


June 2007 - Applications are due Thursday, June 28. Please make sure you update your team information on your Soccer In College page. This information is used to assist with placing your team into the correct Division.

Teams needing hotel rooms are encouraged to wait until they have been assigned a playing division. Divisions will be assigned in late July.
