Tournament Details Dates All games will be played in the Dekalb County area on May 10 & 11, 2025.   Tournament Headquarters 161 Arizona Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30307   Registration All applications are processed on-line. On-line registrations may be paid by check or credit card. You will receive an email confirmation when your application is submitted. All entry fees are due by April 20.   Entry Deadline Registration deadline: April 15, 2025. Acceptances will be e-mailed on a rolling basis. Application fees are non-refundable after registration deadline. Prior to application deadline, there is a $50 processing fee for cancellation.    Hotel Reservations Out of town guests are permitted to use the hotel or hotel company of their own choosing.   Entry Fee U8 -U10 (7 v 7) - $625 U11 – U12 (9 v 9) - $700   Teams The Academy Cup is an unrestricted tournament.   The only requirement is that each team belong to a youth soccer governing body.    Roster Limits:   U8-U10 (7 v 7) = 14 players maximum; 5 guest players (3 from outside clubs) U11-U12 (9 v 9) = 14 players maximum; 5 guest players (3 from outside clubs)   Match Duration:  7v7 =  2 x 25 minutes halves 9v9 = 2 x 30 minutes halves                             Divisions Teams will be grouped according to past playing record to make the most equal competitive divisions possible. The Tournament Committee alone determines final placement. The Committee uses many factors when ranking teams including league playing division and record, State Cup and tournament results, USA Rank ranking service, etc. It is very important to fill out your application accurately and completely.   Awards Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division.
