Locations: Jacksonville High School / Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center / Northside High School
Matches: 5v5 (4 field players and a goalkeeper). A minimum of 3 matches are guaranteed. 
Roster Size: min 5 players, max 9 players

Futsal Rules 

JASA Hammerheads Tournament Rules:

• 2 x 15 min halves (2 minute halftime) - 3 minutes between matches
• If a match is tied after full time, there will be a sudden death penalty shootout. The final score will reflect a one-goal advantage for whichever team wins the shootout.
• GK Rule - if the goalie gives you the ball, you cannot give it back to the goalie UNLESS a member of the opposing team touches the ball or the ball crosses the 1/2 way line. You can also pass back to the GK from any restart. Violations result in an indirect free kick from the top of the arc.
• If the goalkeeper receives a passback, they cannot pick it up and must distribute within 4 seconds. The count stops if the GK is in the attacking half. The 4 second rule also applies to a goalie ball (goal kick).  
• No Offside
• GK can throw the ball anywhere on the court. 
• 5 fouls = penalty. On the 5th foul committed by a team and every subsequent foul after that, the opposing team is awarded a penalty. This resets each half.
• No Slide tackling. Sliding to directly dispossess an opponent is discouraged and penalized. Sliding to block a shot or prevent the ball from going out of bounds is legal. 
• No Timeouts

• Futsal balls will be at each site. Please do not bring soccer balls to the facility.
