Ref Fees paid at the field before each game. Each team is responsible for their half of the fees listed.

All teams should clean up the bench area immediately after each game and exit the space quickly to allow the next team to set up as there is not a lot of time between games

Respect our Referees: VESL has a zero tolerance policy towards referee abuse of any kind. Examples of referee abuse that will not be tolerated include but not limited to:

Verbal and nonverbal communication that contains foul or abusive language

Constant Negative input towards the referee on calls made or not made

Throwing an object towards the referees, onto the pitch, or on the sideline

Physical Altercation

We are committed to creating an environment of respect, fairness, and safety for everyone involved. VESL strives to be a league that recruits, educates, protects, and helps develop referees. Nationwide there is a referee shortage and we want to help change this in East Tennessee.

Uniforms:

Home Team: Listed first on the SINC schedule should wear white/light uniforms

Away Team: Dark Uniforms

If there is a conflict, the away team will need to change or wear pinnies.

TSSA Sideline Policy:

1) The coach is ultimately responsible for the behavior of the plavers and spectators.

When asked by a referee or tournament official to assist in creating a healthy and safe environment during the game the coach is responsible to do so. This assistance may be simply communicating with spectators to calm down or it may be to assist in the removal of a spectator. If unwilling to cooperate and assist, the official may abandon the sanctioned match of TSSA.

  1. Spectators are required to sit directly across from their team on the same half of the soccer field. The only exception would be instances where tournaments or complexes have the team and the players seated on the same touchline with one another. Spectators shall not sit behind the goals or goal lines to observe games.
  2. While we understand that some parents/guardians like to follow their GK or Striker when the team changes halves, we are asking them to please remain on their side of the field. Too many instances have occurred when the parent/guardian have done this and the inability of one side to handle comments made while in proximity have resulted in fights. The purpose of the policy is to help prevent this.
