    • 2021 Kick 4 a Cause to Benefit Read and Feed
100% of event proceeds this year will support Read and Feed whose mission is to strengthen literacy skills among local underserved elementary school children and provide meals in a nurturing neighborhood environment. Each year, Read and Feed partners with local, Wake County schools to identify children at risk or below reading level and travels to their neighborhood (either through a mobile RV or campus site) to provide services.

Specifically, funds raised from the 4v4 will help fuel children's desire to learn through healthy snacks and meals. Before their session, children receive a healthy snack then spend 1-1 time with a reading tutor. After each session, kids take home books to add to their library along with meals provided by Read and Feed. Read and Feed has committed to doubling their impact this year, which includes committing to meeting with students at least twice each week, which means doubling the need of healthy snacks and meals.
